Mezzadro

Mezzadro is a loud and clear message of freedom to define the domestic spatial environment.
With this rather unusual homage name, the object brings to mind Neo Vanguardism, from the provocative nature of Arte Povera to the irony of Pop Art. Like a work by Duchamp, the assembly of craft-based and industrial components holdstogether: the farming world in the sheet metal seat and the steel crossbow, the cycling world in the fixing pin and the nautical one in the beech wood crosspiece.

Castiglioni Brothers
Shop nowAchille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni were born in Milan in 1918 and 1913. Together with brother Livio (1911-1979), they were closely dedicated to their design work from a young age, researching new forms, techniques and materials. As a partnership, Achille and Pier Giacomo designed objects for companies such as Kartell, Zanotta, FLOS, Bernini, Siemens and Knoll, among others. Their collaboration with Brionvega came about thanks to brother Livio, already a design consultant with the Brion company and also responsible for the Zanuso/Sapper duo’s involvement with the brand.

Cappellini
Shop now1946 Enrico Cappellini opens a small workshop in Carugo, a small town a few steps from Como and Milan, producing traditional pieces of furniture according to the artisan traditions of the Brianza area.
