the lines of surface tension are transformed into a weave of leather strips. As with some optical works of the 1950s, Nendo studies the perceptive processes underlying movement, translating them into an arrangement of lines and geometric shapes organized according to a precise mathematical approach. The optical effect, emphasized by the extension ratios and the use of black and white, in its simplicity allows a multiple reading of the object, both structural and superficial.
